This personal data policy describes how your personal data will be processed when you use InterEast Transport AB logistics services such as carrier, customs, forwarding (“Services”), booking portal (“Portal”) and website + career site (“Website”). InterEast Transport AB may collect contact information, account information, booking information, company information, communication, and device information. InterEast Transport AB only collects and processes sensitive personal data if it is justified and necessary and will treat the information with care thereafter. When receiving shipments through our portal, firstly contact the sending company regarding the handling of personal information that they have provided.

The use of your information and how it is shared

You typically provide information for example when you register your account in the portal. You must provide some information to be able to use the portal. Upon failure to provide the right requested information may hinder the performance or delivery of shipments – or other services that you or your employer expects of us. Personal information can now and then be obtained elsewhere, like from websites or public sources.

When you visit the website or use the portal, device information is collected from your device through cookies. This is used to improve the customer experience.  The reason why InterEast Transport AB collects your information is to be able to:

InterEast Transport AB always strives to process your personal data within the EU / EEA. Though sometimes your data need to be transferred to companies outside the region. Your data will be transferred to Mailchimp, Hubspot and Google Analytics, which are in the United States, in connection with visits to our website/booking platform but also regarding our newsletter.

There is a possibility that other rules are applied outside EU / EEA and therefore information can be handled differently, InterEast Transport AB’s responsibility is to find trustworthy/business acceptable corporations that have a good privacy shield implemented. InterEast Transport AB has some say in how long data should be stored and it will depend on what type of information. Personal data can, according to GDPR, be deleted via a request. Some information cannot be deleted directly due to the law.

You own your personal data and therefore have the rights to do the following:

• Access and/or move your data.

• Restrict your data.

Assignments

All assignments are carried out in accordance with NSAB 2000, with the exception of guaranteed times in section 6(2), section 20 B and with the exception of duty to provide insurance in section 27 C3.

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of this information, and you are responsible for maintaining the safety and security of your identifying information. You are also responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password. Which cookies we use and how they work

The cookies we use to identify a user but without telling us who you are, we will only receive a random string of numbers that are being used in different programs to make a unique but anonymous ID for you. Google Analytics is our main tool to analyze the behaviour of our customers, it is implemented on all our sites connected to the internet (website, career, platform). Tool for better improves our rating on Google, through paid advertisements. Relevant keywords will make us visible on Google. For example, if you search for “Export from Romania”, there is a good chance that you will see an ad from us.
